Mindy Kaling is pregnant with her first child! The pregnancy is being called an "unexpected surprise." Mindy has expressed wanting kids in the recent past. In her 2015 book, she wrote about her worries:

“I will never have a husband and all my female acquaintances will... What if my kids are really young when I die because I waited too long to have them?”

She also once said:

"I'm not cavalier about who I would have a kid with. But the thing I ask every parent that I really admire, the one comment they all have is that they wish they had kids earlier." Mindy is 38. People

A Buzzfeed report broke yesterday saying that R. Kelly was holding young women in a cult-like atmosphere inside his homes against their will. He lures them in with the promise of fame and then starts physical relationships with them. One woman was allegedly 17 when she met him and another was 19. The allegations claim that there are 6 women. Late yesterday, R. Kelly put out a statement through his lawyer, that said:

"Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed at the recent revelations attributed to him... Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such allegations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name." USA Today

We now know why the voice of Kermit The Frog just stepped down... sort of. He did not decide to retire, but was fired for "unacceptable business contact." I for one am looking forward to the memes that are sure to follow this bit of news. TIME

Jessica Alba announced via Instagram video that she's expecting her 3rd child!

Ryan Phillipe, who is currently starring in the show Shooter, had to be hospitalized for a broken leg, but assures us that her is okay! The injury was not TV set or stunt related. He said:

"hey, guys. i didn't injure myself doing a stunt or anywhere near the set of shooter. i was the victim of a freak accident during a family...outing on sunday. my leg is badly broken & required surgical attention, but i will make a full recovery, am in good hands, and will be... back in action soon. thank you for all the well wishes, support, & concern. also a special thanks to the paramedics & first responders,"
