The New York Times published (a very long) interview with Lindsay Lohan, who is currently living overseas. Lindsay claims to be a business woman now and to have completely moved on from her troubled past:

"my past has to stay in the past. Like, people have to just let go of it and stop bringing it up because it's not—it's gone. It's dead. And that's the most important thing to me." 

She also said:

"I'm a normal, nice person. A good person. I don't have any bad intentions." 

While it seemed like Lindsay had made some major changes, she still mixed up interview appointments, and stood up the Times when they sent a photographer for a shoot. Instead, she sent someone to say that she wouldn't be showing up unless the photo shoot was paid. Hmm... is that a trace of 2008-Lindsay? Or is this new savvy-business-woman Lindsay? Perspective. The Grammy's are now expanding their categories from 5 nominees to 8 nominees. They didn't explicitly say it, but speculation is that the reason for the expansion was to be able to include a higher female representation. The show was recently criticized for not including enough female artists as nominees. When the president and CEO of the Recording Academy said that women needed to "step up," he was met with criticism. This new change could be meant to prevent further critique. Consequence of Sound
